Lynne Rogers
Morning Session 10 - 12.30 with a 15min break at
about 11.15.
Afternoon Session 2 till 4.30 again with a 15min
break at about 3.
A soprano who originally studied Theology at
Manchester University before travelling to Italy to study singing under Maestro
Arrigo Pola, Lynne then went to Birmingham Conservatoire where she gained a
Masters in Performance Studies. Currently Lynne has a busy portfolio career as
a singing teacher, choral director and freelance soprano. She is a gifted
concert and oratorio performer and is a regular member of the BBC Daily Service
Singers which broadcasts daily on Radio 4. In addition to conducting a number
of choirs Lynne currently teaches singing at Liverpool Hope University. Lynne also teaches singing
at St Vincent’s School for the visually impaired, a role that she enjoys very
much.
